Find out about the North Carolina Pottery Center and N.C.
pottery in general with center Executive Director Lindsey Lambert at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, November 12, at the Asheboro Public Library.
The program, sponsored by the Friend of the Library, is free
and the public is invited.
Lambert will talk about the center, its mission and its role
in promoting awareness of the history, heritage and ongoing tradition of
pottery-making in the state through educational programs, collection and
preservation, and research and documentation.
Prior to joining the pottery center in 2013, Lambert served
as director of Greensboro College’s museum and archives.
