Sparks fly between a soldier home on leave and a conservative college woman in Dear John, the Asheboro Public Library’s Movie Monday for Adults, 2 p.m. July 12.Channing Tatum play the soldier, who reenlists after the September 11 attacks instead of returning home to his new girlfriend, played by Amanda Seyfried. Time and distance begin to take a toll on the young lovers.
The romantic drama is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.
