was determined to hold her family, and her marriage, together.
Dunlap was born in Pittsburgh and moved to North Carolina in 1977. She has been
a freelance journalist for over 30 years whose articles have appeared in
various regional newspapers including The Courier-Tribune.
Her first book, Frank: The Story of Frances Folsom Cleveland, America’s
Youngest First Lady, was published by SUNY Press/Excelsior Editions in 2009
and in 2011 received the Ella Dickey Literacy Award.
