Author and Asheboro native Christian Strayhorn Spence will
introduce her novel General Pershing’s Other Daughter at 6 p.m.
Thursday, November 7, at the Asheboro Public Library.
Her appearance, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is
free and the public is invited.
The novel focuses on Julia, an American orphan sent to live
in Austria during Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the years preceding World War
II.
