ASHEBORO – Teachers and staff of the Asheboro City and
Randolph County school systems, and the county’s charter and private schools,
are invited to a ‘Teacher Appreciation Night’ from 3-7 p.m. Monday, November
17, at the Asheboro Public Library.
The drop-in style event is an opportunity for teachers and
school staff to get reacquainted with the library, and enjoy some down-time
during American Education Week, which runs from November 16-22.
Homemade treats will be provided by the Friends of the
Library, and participants can register for door prizes. Lost, damaged or worn
library cards will be replaced free of charge for anyone with a school ID.
