ASHEBORO – The Adequates – with five members, “the world’s
largest barbershop quartet” – will sing Christmas tunes and barbershop
favorites at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 18, at the Asheboro Public Library.
The concert, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is
free and the public is invited.
The Adequates are Allen Holt, Charles Loggins, Don Monroe,
Philip Shore III and Tom White. Formed in 2010, they have won top honors in two
Senior Games talent shows and are much in demand for performances in the area.
The library is located at 201 Worth Street in Asheboro. For
