Healthy living for kids is the focus of visits by author
Hillary Spangler to the Liberty and Randleman libraries in March.
Spangler, author of Where is Henry?, invites children
to join in the interactive adventure of finding Henry at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
March 11, at the Liberty Public Library, and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at
Randleman Public Library.
Her visit is free and the public is invited.
Where is Henry? encourages literacy, nutrition,
education and physical activity among elementary-aged children.
An Asheboro native and second-year medical student, Spangler
is an advocate for healthy living in all age groups, and believes that teaching
healthy behaviors at an early age provides a solid platform for healthy living
later in life.
The Liberty library is located at 239 S. Fayetteville St. in
